Back to DW because [personal profile] ysabetwordsmith is great writer and I'm fangirling her series starting with "Love is for Children" that I found o AO3. It's my reason for waking up in the morning.
(I actually posted this Monday at LJ . I kind of forgot about this journal in all the drama)

Wow it's been, not fun. We were there from Wednesday to Sunday.

Monday and Tuesday my son, 8yo, had cold symptoms, fever and sinus problems, then Wednesday he woke up with a swollen leg from the knee down. I'd never seen anything like it before. He couldn't bend his knee. His father found a blood blister on it so he lanced it because he thought maybe there was something in it. Well there wasn't and it pussed a little when he squeezed it. (The doctors weren't too happy when they had heard this! Never lance anything, let a doctor see it!)

So we're home now and catching up on our sleep and cleaning up everything. I'll probably not respond to comments, not that I usually do, because he still needs watched over for a while and I can't stay on the computer much. I've been on here too long as it is. I just needed to get all this out.
So yesterday the four of us went to see the new movie. We showed up 15 minutes before the 3:05 showing but it was sold out so we got tickets for the 4:00. People are still flocking to it and I heard on the radio they had the biggest opening day ever. Well it was still hella busy Saturday. We got the big auditorium and it was packed! It might have also helped that it was the cheapest theater in the area with a $4 matinee ^_^ We got some of the last set of 4 seats together and we entered 30 minutes before the previews began.

First off, the new HP6 trailer was so awesome it almost made me loose my resolve to not go see the movie at the theater. I think there was a piece of every major scene in the book. Anyone who has read the book and remembers it, like my husband and daughter didn't, will recognize just about every scene though they happen very rapidly, some literally just flickers. I've posted my reason that I'll be avoiding it previously.

As for the movie, the action was kick ass awesome! Along with all the Transformers they put in. Nothing makes me giddy like a child like Transformers does. I'm happy to have a 9yo son so I have a reason to buy them. Optimus Prime gives me the shivers every time I see him on the big screen.

Possible spoilers.... )

So it's summer. My kids are out of school and it looks like work will pick up soon. I kind of forgot I had this account. I've got to find some crossposting freeware so I can make sure I crosspost. For now I'll just link back to my last entry which was on May 28th.

eta: YAY! DW does it for you! That is so awesome! Now I'm sure to post here first!

I got a DW account! I'll have to wait a bit to fully explore. I've got way too much going on this week.
